Institute for Breathing and Sleep

The Institute for Breathing and Sleep (IBAS) aims to promote, facilitate and co-ordinate research, education and public advocacy in respiratory and sleep health. Established in 2001, located at the Austin Hospital and affiliated with The University of Melbourne, IBAS continues the work of the late Professor Rob Pierce in linking clinical work to research questions and outcomes in the areas of sleep and respiratory health.
